SJVDA
“Who we are”.

We (SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY) are fortunate to be chosen by the USSF (UNITED STATES SOCCER FEDERATION) as one of their USDA's with understanding the great responsibilities granted to us.

The DA is a program created by the USSF with the objective to identify the best talent in specific regions, allowing these players to practice with other talented athletes and play against other DA’s. This model helps ambitious talented players to develop at a higher level.

Also the DA program provides scouting, and identification of special talent at young ages to form our US youth national teams.

“VISION”
As a club we understand the responsibilities to make the difference in our community providing top soccer education and prioritizing education over soccer. We want to create classy footballers but most  important classy people, people that will make a difference in our communities.

MISSION

Our mission is to develop great persons in all areas, provide opportunities to our athletes not only on the soccer pitch but in the classrooms as well.  Our purpose will always be to provide a class one organization; an organization that will provide education in all areas (academics, soccer, life lessons, character and more). Making our communities a little better.

We want to create an Academy form by the best talent in our region, we will play attractive offensive soccer, using possession as a tool to score goals, designs chances on goals, allowing our players to take risks, choosing development over results, on the defensive side they need to learn the urgency to win ball back, coaches will help them in how to do it in an organized way. we want to develop players for the future, for college, (Our DA have an after school program and a mental health program.)  Marquee training and youth national teams. Our players will experience and explore different positions in the field, we want to develop smart players, decision making (insight) will be a major part of our program.

Way of play.

Our teams will play an offensive style of soccer.
--U12DA formation  1-3-2-3 and 1-4-3-1.
--U13DA formation  1-4-3-3.
--U14DA formation  1-4-3-3.

Goals

1.-Our goal is to develop smart players, players with a good insight (soccer intelligence), we are looking into the future.
2.- We need to develop good players and good persons.
3.-We need to send as many players as we possibly can to college and Youth National teams.
4.-Make our community understand the importance of a USDA in our region.
5.-Integration of USDA program with our club teams.

Values

Respect.
We will put a great effort on this matter, respect coaches (don't coach your son let coach make decisions) , respect players, encourage them, be positive, respect parents from our own team and opposite team. We will put in place the 24 hour rule, if you are upset at coach do not approach him before, during or after game, wait 24 hours set an appointment then talk.

Effort.
As a high level program we will put emphasis on effort, our athletes need to understand that the only way to develop and achieve goals is simply by trying hard, by making a serious attempt to achieve the goals.

Commitment.
We need players committed to the game, work hard in practices and games, be loyal to your club and to your team, support our program and help us to create a positive environment, an environment that helps our players to be accessible in the game and in life.

Dedication.
We need players dedicated to education and the game, players driven to achieve goals , ambitious players, players that when they are not in practices they will be driven to practice on their own.
